Comments: Effigy with Cocijo mask sitting on base. Photographs show that Louis Gustave Bellón had three of these effigies in his collection, nos. 303, 27 and 28. All of them are more complete than the Smithsonian urn which is missing the left hand. Therefore there were probably at least four objects in this set. |
